Background
A private ambulance company with the key purpose of serving the community approached SRIS after recognising our specialism in private ambulance and public transportation.
Challenge
The client had grown frustrated at the lack of assistance and guidance from their holding broker and was aware of SRIS's presence within the private ambulance insurance market following our attendance at events, affiliation with trade associations and active presence on LinkedIn.
Solution
After engaging with the client to examine their business needs and performing a detailed claims analysis and risk management review, SRIS Private Ambulance insurance specialists Grant Irwin and Grant Barham highlighted processes the client could implement to improve their claims performance, specifically on the Motor programme. By doing so, this would ensure that the client would pay less for their insurance programme in the long run.
On the non-Motor programme our Private Ambulance insurance specialists were able to save the customer in excess of 35% while also enhancing their cover in the process.
Outcome
The SRIS team were able to secure a customer commitment and a letter of appointment as a result of Grant's negotiations before the incumbent broker had even begun their renewal review process, demonstrating true value and “Difficult. Done Well.”
